Woman Sexually Attacked In Belfast

A woman has been seriously sexually assaulted in Belfast City Centre.

The attack happened in the Rosemary Street area at around 3.30am on Thursday.

The woman, aged in her early 20s, was waiting for a friend to collect her when she was sexually attacked by a man.

He is described as a black male and he was wearing a black top, white jeans and a black baseball cap with white trim.

When the woman's friend arrived, he chased the attacker off in the direction of Royal Avenue.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Sexually Assaulted In Omagh
Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may be able to assist the investigation.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Pensioner attacked during burglary of her home
A 90-year-old woman was assaulted during a burglary of her home in Ballygowan, Co Down last night. The woman was confronted by a teenager after hearing noise in her kitchen. The youth then assaulted the elderly woman before escaping into an alley at the back of the house. Police believe an accomplice then joined the assailant.
