Two Arrested Over West Belfast Stabbing

Two men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a man in west Belfast.

The suspects, aged 17 and 26, are being questioned by police at Musgrave Street police station.

The victim, aged 18, was stabbed in the Cullingtree Road area on Sunday, 01 November.

He is currently in a serious condition in hospital.

The 26-year-old was previously arrested in connection with the incident, however he was released on bail at the time ending further enquiries.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Teenagers Arrested In Connection With 'Racially-Motivated Hate Crime'
Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a "racially-motivated hate crime". A man, aged in his 30s, was attacked by a group of youths in the East Bridge Street area of Belfast on Monday afternoon, 17 September. The man continues to be treated in hospital for injuries sustained in the attack.

Police Granted More Time To Question Three People Over 'Suspicious' Death
Police have been granted an additional 36 hours to question three people arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a man in Newtownards, Co Down. Dessie Mee, aged 45, died in hospital following an incident at Millers House on Regent Street just before 7.50pm on Tuesday, 26 July.
