Woman Seriously Injured After Collision In Co Antrim

A man has been arrested after a woman was seriously injured in a single vehicle collision in Co Antrim.

The accident happened on the Ballybogey Road in Ballymoney at around 5am on Saturday.

The female passenger is believed to be in a critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Another three men and one woman were taken to the Causeway Hospital for treatment.

The 22-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

Man Arrested In Connection With Banbridge Shooting
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday 12 April. Detectives investigating the shooting incident carried out a search of two properties in the Mullaghbawn and Banbridge areas on Wednesday, 17 April.
