Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh

A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh.

A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs.

The incident happened on Thursday night.

The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Appeal For Information On Newtownards Assault
Police in Newtownards have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault in the town on Sunday 02 January. According to police, a man aged in his 20s, was attacked by up to four men armed with "poles" in an alleyway close to Glenbrook Road at about 19:45. The victim suffered injuries to his head, legs, arms and hands.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.
