Two Vehicles And Firearms Stolen In Co Tyrone

Two vehicles and firearms have been stolen in Ballygawley, Co Tyrone.

The incident happened between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Police believe the thugs entered a property on the Whitebridge Road and stole the keys of two vehicles, a Green Landrover Defender 90 and Silver Audi Q3, while the occupants were asleep upstairs.

Police are advising the public to be vigilant and are asking anyone with information to contact them.

The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

Three In Hospital After Police Vehicle Collides With Another Vehicle
Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April. It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.
