Engagement Ring Stolen During Burglary In South Belfast

An engagement ring and a gold signet ring with the initials 'TOG' engraved on it have been stolen from a house in south Belfast.

The incident happened in the Glencregagh Drive area between 3pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday.

A man was seen running along Glencregagh Drive in the direction of Beechgrove Avenue close to the time of the incident. He was wearing a thigh length dark coat with the hood up, aged in his mid-20s and carrying a small rucksack on his back.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
