Work Starts On L'Derry Regeneration Scheme

Construction work has started on a £120,000 regeneration scheme in Co L'Derry.

As part of the scheme Irish Green Street between Catherine Street and Connell Street in Limavady will be re-paved and decorative street lighting will improve the fresh new streetscape.

Social Development Minister Lord Morrow said: "Following on from my Department's earlier investment in upgrading the public realm on Main Street, Catherine Street and Linenhall Street, this latest project shows my continued commitment to the implementation of the Limavady Town Centre Masterplan."

The work is expected to be completed by 31 March.
