Viable Device Found During Security Alert In L'Derry
A viable device has been found during a security left in Co L'Derry.
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in the Gelvin Gardens area on Sunday after a suspicious object was discovered.
The device has been made safe and has been seized for forensic examination.
Residents have now returned to their homes and an investigation has been launched.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

An initiative providing security equipment to victims of domestic abuse who live in the Derry City & Strabane District has entered its second year. The aim of the initiative to help victims feel safer involves The Police Service of Northern Ireland and Derry and Strabane Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP).

Homes Evacuated In Co Tyrone And Co Down
Homes have been evacuated in two separate security alerts in County Tyrone and County Down today, 19 January. In the first security alert, a suspicious object was found at at a house on the Gortgonis Road in Coalisland. A number of nearby houses have been evacuated and the public asked to avoid the area at this time.

25-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Bobbie McKee
A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Bobbie McKee in Kilkeel. Mr McKee (69) died shortly after being found seriously injured at his home in the Newcastle Road area on Thursday 21 March. The man has also been charged with the attempted murder of Mr McKee's wife, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Murder Investigation Launches After Man Found In West Belfast
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man found in west Belfast. On Wednesday, 06 March, a man was found with serious injuries in the Cupar Street area just before 8pm. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being transferred to hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
