Three Arrests Following 'Creeper-Style' Burglary In South Belfast

Three people have been arrested in connection with a 'creeper-style' burglary on Monday in south Belfast.

Police received a report of a break-in the Harberton Drive area at approximately 11pm.

A brown Audi A3 vehicle was stolen after the keys were taken from inside a house.

The car was involved in an accident on Tuesday morning and the three people arrested.

Two males, aged 16 and 18, and a female, aged 18, were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.

They are currently being detained by the police.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Two charged over M1 car chase
Two men are to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today in connection with a high-speed car chase in which four police officers were hurt. The incident occurred at 2am on Sunday morning when police pursued a vehicle which had allegedly been stolen in Loughgall, Co Armagh. During the chase four police officers were hurt and two arrests made.

Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with an attempted burglary in east Belfast on Monday, 11 March. PSNI officers responded to a report of an attempted break in and criminal damage at a property in the Upper Newtownards Road area.

Three Arrests Over Police Shooting
Three men have been arrested and are being questioned over the attempted murder of an off-duty policeman in Bishop Street, Londonderry in November 2007. The Catholic officer, 43, from the Bogside area of the city, was shot and wounded last year after dropping his son off at school. The Real IRA admitted responsibility for the shooting at the time.

Arrests after Shankill arms find
Two men and a woman have been arrested following an arms find in the loyalist lower Shankill in Belfast last night. In a planned house search, police recovered a firearm and a quantity of ammunition. The three are assisting police with their inquiries.
