Man Dies In Co Antrim Road Crash

A man in his 60s has died following a tw-car crash in Lisburn, Co Antrim.

The accident happened at the junction of Belfast Road and Wallace Avenue at around 3pm on Monday.

The man who died was a driver of one of the vehicles.

Wallace Avenue and the Belfast Road remain closed and diversions have been put in place.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash
The PSNI have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road crash involving a motorcycle and a car. The accident happened on the Monagh Road in Turf Lodge on Saturday. A 20-year-old man died in the collision. Police say that the death is the 57th fatality on NI roads so far this year. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact police.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
