Free Entrepreneur Workshops Announced By BCC

Belfast City Council has announced a series of free workshops aimed at helping budding entrepreneurs.

The workshops are part of the Start by Doing enterprise initiative funded by Belfast City Council.

The 'Create' workshop will focus on product design and development and will be held in FabLab in the Ashton Centre, north Belfast. The aim of the workshop is to develop a product prototype for business, gain skills in product design and have an opportunity to sample 3D printing. The workshop is open to people across Belfast but spaces are limited.

The 'Activate' workshop aims to help people develop a mini business plan. This workshop will take place in the Work West Social Economy Village on Tuesday 26 April

It is aimed at budding entrepreneurs who have a business idea and want to gain a better insight into how they can understand their customers and competitors.

It will be followed by another Activate workshop on 17 May from in the City East Business Centre, east Belfast.
