Man Suffers Burns In East Belfast Arson Attack

A man has suffered burns to his hand following an arson attack at a house in east Belfast.

The attack happened in the My Lady's Road area at around 4am on Wednesday, 20 April.

A container with flammable liquid was set outside the front door of the property and set alight.

The front porch was damaged and the man was treated at the scene.

Police said they are looking for a man wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and trousers and white trainers.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man set alight during arson attack in Poleglass
A man is thought to have been set on fire during an arson attack on a house in Poleglass on the outskirts of Belfast. The attack on the house in Colinbrook Gardens took place on Sunday night at around 11.20pm, when a group of three men approached the house.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
