Man Injured Following Fire At Chinese Take-Away In L'Derry
A man has been taken to hospital following a fire at a Chinese take-away in Co L'Derry.
Over 30 fire fighters attended the blaze in the Carlisle Road area at around 10.15am on Sunday.
The fire is believed to have started on the first floor of the property and five fire engines attended the scene.
The man was treated for minor burns and has been discharged from hospital.
The blaze is believed to have started accidentally.

Series Of Search Operations Conducted In Claudy And L'Derry
The PSNI's Serious Crime Branch have carried a number of search operation in Claudy and L'Derry as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity. As a result of the searches, in the Learmount Road area of Claudy and the Currynierin area of L'Derry, a number of items were seized and removed for further forensic examination.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a two-vehicle collision in Ballygawley. On Sunday, 21 April, a blue BMW M4 and a black Kia Sportage were involved in a collision in the Old Omagh Road area just before 4pm.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.
