Investigation Launched Following Arson Attack In North Belfast

Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack on a derelict building in north Belfast.

The incident happened in the Salisbury Avenue area on the Antrim Road just after 4.30pm on Monday, 04 July.

The adjoining premises had to be evacuated and police said they are treating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life.

Detective Inspector Mary White, of Musgrave Reactive and Organised Crime said: "I would appeal anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area prior to the fire starting, or anyone who has information that could assist in our enquiries to contact police.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a male aged in his forties wearing a denim jacket and light trousers in the vicinity to get in touch. I would appeal directly to this male to get in touch with us to assist in our enquiries. The number to call is 101 quoting reference 870 of 4th July."

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Woman Paula Elliott

Paula, 52, was last seen on Tuesday 5th March on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.

Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March. It was reported that at around 2.10am on Tuesday morning, two petrol bombs were thrown at the back wall of a house in the Castlewellan Road area, causing scorch damage to the wall and a window frame.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.
