NI Is Stronger Now Than It Was Six Years Ago - Cameron

David Cameron has said he believes Northern Ireland is stronger than it was six years ago as he answered Prime Minister's Questions for the final time today, 13 July.

Ulster Unionist MP Danny Kinahan also asked Mr Cameron about the impact of Brexit on NI.

Mr Cameron replied: "We do need to make sure that, as we leave the European Union, we work out how to keep the benefits of the Common Travel Area.

"Hard work is being done now with civil servants in Northern Ireland, in Whitehall, but also in the Republic of Ireland and that work needs to quicken."

Mr Cameron is to leave Downing Street later today, 13 July, and Theresa May is to replace him.
