Masked man attempts to abduct girl
Police have appealed for any witnesses to an attempted abduction in west Belfast at the weekend.
A nine-year-old girl was standing outside a house at Laurel Bank in Poleglass at around 10pm on Saturday when she was grabbed by a masked man.
The girl managed to break free from his grip and ran inside the house.
The man was believed to have been wearing a black boots, a long leather coat and gloves.
Police believe he may have escaped in a white coloured car seen in the area at the time of the incident.

PSNI Received 2,228 Domestic-Abuse Calls Over Christmas Period
The PSNI responded to a total of 2,228 domestic abuse calls between 20th November 2023 and 2nd January 2024, during their annual Operation 'Season's Greetings'. On these key festive dates from 24th December 2023 to 1st January 2024, the service also arrested more under 18s for domestic abuse related offences than the previous three years.
