Belfast Giants To Face Scottish Rivals Braehead Clan

The Belfast Giants are to face their Scottish rivals Braehead Clan in a pre-season series over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The teams will play against each other at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Saturday 27 August at 7pm and in Braehead on Sunday 28 August at 6pm.

The games will be the Giants final preparations ahead of the 2016/17 Elite League season beginning the following weekend on Saturday 03 September.

Tickets for the Giants home game will go on sale soon from Ticketmaster and the SSE Arena ticket office.

Belfast Giants Win Against Braehead
The Belfast Giants won against Braehead on Sunday, 25 September, in a shootout after Jackson Whistle stopped two Clan shooters. James Desmarais and David Rutherford also scored. The win, which was Whistle's first start in the net for the team, keeps the Giants in first place in Challenge Cup Group A with nine points from six games played.
