Police Appeal After Woman Seriously Attacked At Bonfire In East Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a woman sustained serious facial injuries at an Eleventh night bonfire in east Belfast.

A 21-year-old woman was seriously attacked by another female in the Ballybeen area in Dundonald.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack or who may have any other information to contact them.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "If you can please contact Police via 101 and quote crime reference 442, 15/07/2016."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Appeal After Woman Seriously Assaulted In Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously assaulted in Belfast on Saturday 13 June. The woman was attacked outside commercial premises on the Newtownards Road. Police are trying to trace two women who helped the victim. The woman is believed to have been seriously injured.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Missing Woman Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of high-risk missing person Paula Elliott, who has now not been seen for three weeks. Paula, 52, was last seen on Tuesday 5th March on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.
