Investigation Launched After Man Stabbed In North Belfast

An investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed during a burglary in north Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Ainsworth Avenue area at around 6pm last Tuesday, 19 July.

The suspect walked into the property and attacked the victim with a knife.

He is described as being around 28-years-old, 6ft tall, of medium build with a light ginger beard.

He was wearing a grey Mackenzie hoody and blue jeans.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

On Wednesday, 06 March, a man was found with serious injuries in the Cupar Street area just before 8pm. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being transferred to hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Renewed Appeal For Information In West Belfast Murder Investigation
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have renewed an appeal for information following the death of a man in west Belfast. A murder investigation was launched after a man was found seriously injured and unconscious in the Cupar Street area of the city on Wednesday evening, 6 March. The man passed away in hospital later that same night.

Investigation Launched Following North Belfast Break-In
Police have launched an investigation after a man escaped injury following a break-in at a property in north Belfast. The incident happened at a flat on the Cliftonville Road at around 7.15am on Wednesday, 04 January. A man and woman armed with a baseball bat entered the property and searched all of the rooms. They then fled from the scene.
