Prince's Trust To Launch Explore Enterprise Programme

The Prince's Trust has announced a new 'Explore Enterprise' programme, offering a package of cash, mentoring and practical support for unemployed people wanting to start a business.

The programme is aimed at people aged 18 to 30, and will help them develop a business and financial plan.

The programme will be launched with a free information session, explaining what the course offers, ahead of a four-day interactive workshop.

Other benefits of the programme include:

• test marketing grants of up to £250

• financial support to start your business including loans up to £7,500 and grants up to £1,500 (conditions apply)

• up to two years support from a volunteer business mentor

The course is aim at people

• are interested in setting up their own business, but haven't hit on the right idea yet

• have a business idea they want help to explore

• are unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week
