Pensioner Left Badly Shaken Following Burglary In North Belfast
A pensioner has been left very badly shaken following a burglary at his home in north Belfast.
The incident happened in Ballycarry Street at around noon on Thursday, 28 July.
Two men forced the victim, aged in his 70s, into the kitchen.
One of the suspects went upstairs and it is believed a sum of money was stolen.
Both men fled the scene in a small blue car.
The victim was not physically injured, however he was left very badly shaken.
Detective Sergeant Griffin said: "I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to call detectives at Musgrave on 101 quoting reference 595 28/07/16. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Police are appealing for information after a shop worker was attacked and threatened in L'Derry. Police in Newry have appealed for information following the robbery of a pensioner last night. Three men forced their way into the elderly woman's home in the Patrick Street area of the city at around 7pm. The robbers ransacked rooms before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.
