Omagh Man Killed In Cavan Crash
A man from Omagh in Co Tyrone has been killed in a collision in the Republic of Ireland.
The crash occurred on the Station Road at around 5.55pm in Co Cavan on Sunday, 31 July.
The car is believed to have hit a wall and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out.
The driver of the car is being treated at Cavan General Hospital and a second passenger was taken to St James' Hospital in Dublin.
The Station Road remains closed and an investigation has launched.

Murder Investigation Launches After Man Found In West Belfast
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man found in west Belfast. On Wednesday, 06 March, a man was found with serious injuries in the Cupar Street area just before 8pm. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being transferred to hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Man Arrested For Headbutting Female Police Officer
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Newry for assaulting a police officer. While responding to a domestic related report, a local female officer was headbutted to the head, which caused swelling and bruising. The officer was seen by medical staff and her injuries were not more serious and she felt well enough to remain on duty.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of Andrew James Thompson
A 44-year-old man has been jailed for manslaughter and committing arson recklessly to endanger life having unlawfully killed Andrew James Thompson. At Newry Crown Court, Gary Anthony Magee was sentenced to serve seven years in prison, half to be served in custody and half on license, following his guilty plea last October.
