£25,000 Cannabis Seized In Belfast
A 32-year-old woman has been arrested after police seized £25,000 worth of cannabis plants in Belfast.
Officers also found a quantity of herbal cannabis at an address in the Custom House Square area on Tuesday, 02 August.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences in north Belfast. She has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Detective Constable Glenn said: "This search and arrest come as part of a follow up operation to the seizure of cannabis in Carrickfergus in December 2015.
"Our enquiries are continuing and I would appeal to anyone with any information about the use or supply of illegal drugs to contact police on 101."

A 22-year-old man has been charged after £16,000 worth of cannabis plants were seized in L'Derry. The discovery was made after police searched a house in the Waterside area on Friday, 22 September. The suspect has been accused of growing cannabis, possession of a Class B drug and intent to supply.

Two men have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected cannabis factory at a property in Craigavon on Tuesday 10th January. Shortly after 5.15pm, officers received and responded to a report of suspicious activity at a house in the Carrigart Crescent area.
