Minibus Attacked In West Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after a minibus was attacked in west Belfast.
The incident occurred in the Divis Street area at around 4.45pm on Wednesday, 03 August.
A brick was thrown through the window of the vehicle which a number of tourists were travelling in.
The window of the bus was smashed, however there were no reports of any injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey condemned the attack.
He said: "Thousands of people are set to visit West Belfast for Féile an Phobail events over the course of the next ten days.
"Hundreds visit the murals and interface walls every day and they leave with a positive experience of this part of the city.
"It is unfortunate this family who were touring the city have had suffered the shock of being attacked like this and thankfully none of them was injured.
"I have been in touch with the bus company and have asked them to pass my contact details to the family so I can offer my support."
