Man Seriously Attacked In South Belfast

A man has been seriously assaulted in south Belfast.

The attack happened in the Alfred Street area just before 2am on Sunday, 14 August.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was stabbed in his face and has been taken to hospital to be treated.

The suspect is described as being around 5ft 8ins tall and of stocky build. He made off on foot along Alfred Street, towards Ormeau Avenue.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Shots Fired At House In South Belfast
Shots have been fired at a house in south Belfast. The attack occurred at Eliza Street Terrace at around 9pm on Sunday. The shots were fired through the kitchen window, and no-one was injured in the attack. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Attacked During South Belfast Street Robbery
A man has sustained injuries to his head and upper body after being attacked during a street robbery in south Belfast. The incident occurred in the Malone Place area in the early hours of Saturday, 18 March. Two men forced the victim to empty his pockets and stole his wallet and mobile phone.

Appeal For Information On South Belfast Street Robbery
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a reported robbery in the Drumart Drive area of south Belfast on Sunday, 13th November. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Ash said: "At approximately 11.35pm we received a report that a man in his fifties had been attacked by three men unknown to him.
