Two Men Mugged In Co Antrim
Two men have been mugged in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
The incident happened in the Carnhill Place area at around 12.10am on Sunday, 21 August.
Two masked men, carrying suspected firearms, threatened the victims and forced them to hand over money from their wallets.
The suspects made off in the direction of Oakfield Drive.
The men were not injured, however they were left shaken.
Sinn Féin MLA Oliver McMullan said: "Reports that two men were mugged by armed and masked men in the Carnhill Place area of Carrickfergus are very disturbing.
"It must have been a terrifying experience for those involved and they were no doubt left shaken by the experience.
"I would encourage anyone with information on the incident to bring it forward to the PSNI."

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 14-year-old in the Knockmore Road area of Lisburn last night, Monday 25th March. Police have said that at approximately 7.40pm on Monday 25 March, a 14-year-old boy had been approached by a group of teenagers, before being stabbed in the lower back.
