Member Of Armed Forces Arrested Over NI Terrorism-Related Offences
A serving member of the British armed forces has been arrested in England on suspicion of terrorism-related offences in Northern Ireland.
The 30-year-old man was detained at an address in Somerset and has been taken to a West Country police station.
The man was arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Counter Terrorism Command supported by officers from Avon and Somerset and Devon and Cornwall Police, on suspicion of being involved in the preparation for acts of terrorism under section 5 of the Terrorism Act.
Further searches are being carried out in South Devon.

Man Arrested Under Terrorism Act
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act in Co Tyrone. The 34-year-old was detained in the Coalisland area on Tuesday, 19 June. He is currently in custody at Musgrave police station. The arrest is in relation to a weapons and ammunition find at a garage in the Mountjoy Road in 2011.

Man Wanted On Murder Charge In Spain Arrested In Craigavon
A 22-year-old man wanted in Spain in connection with a murder investigation has been arrested in Craigavon. Officers from the PSNI's International Policing Unit and Lurgan Local Policing Team worked with the National Crime Agency and Spanish authorities to track the wanted person down to an address in the Craigavon area on Friday 23rd February.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

A 30-year-old Limavady man has been sentenced at Antrim Crown Court for five offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, domestic abuse and common assault. Eamon Begley was sentenced to four years – two years in prison and two years on licence.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.
