Police Appeal Over Sudden Death In Belfast

Police are appealing for information following the sudden of a man in Belfast.

Wilfred Holmes, aged 45, and known as Wilfie, was originally from Ballymoney but was living in Belfast.

His body was discovered in Donegall Street at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, 21 September.

Police said he had been in L'Derry earlier in the day before travelling back to Belfast.

He is described as being approximately 5ft 9inches in height, with blue eyes, short dark brown hair and of medium build.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal For Information On North Belfast Burglary
Police have issued an appeal for information following the burglary of an elderly woman's home in north Belfast. Thieves broke into the property on the Old Cave Hill Road at about 8am on Sunday, 29 July. It is understood that the elderly homeowner was in the house at the time of the burglary but was not harmed.

Police Appeal For Information Following West Belfast Robbery
Police are appealing for information following a robbery on Glen Parade in West Belfast. The incident occurred at around 11pm on Monday, 14 May. On Facebook, PSNI West Belfast said: "The victim was robbed of a black leather handbag and a small quantity of cash.
