Investigation Launched Following Shooting Incident In South Belfast

Police have launched an investigation following a shooting incident in south Belfast.

The attack happened in Eliza Street Terrace shortly after 8.50pm on Wednesday, 28 September.

Police received reports that a number of shots had been fired at the back of a house in the area.

Residents who were in the house at the time were not injured, however they were left shaken.

Detective Sergeant Natalie McNally said: "I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1212 of 28/09/16.

"Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Police Appeal After Man Exposes Himself To Teenager At Railway Station
Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a teenager in the Dunmurry area. The incident happened at the Dunmurry railway halt between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday, 25 November. A PSNI spokesperson said: "A male wearing a black and white hat exposed himself to a teenager before leaving the area.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Appeal After Woman Injured In Crash In East Belfast
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was injured in a collision between a car and a moped in east Belfast. The crash happened in the Parkgate Avenue area at around 11.25pm on Saturday, 13 May. The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.
