Man Shot In West Belfast

A man has been shot in a paramilitary style attack in west Belfast.

The incident occurred on Bread Street just before 9pm on Thursday, 29 September.

The victim was shot in the legs and ankles and is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Sinn Fein MP Paul Maskey said: "There is no place for these type of actions in our society.

"Those responsible need to end their war against the community and stop these shootings immediately."

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Belfast. A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the legs in an incident at Forfar Lane in the Springfield Road area, which occurred at around 21:15 on Monday 13 June.

Man Shot In West Belfast
An investigation has been launched into a shooting in west Belfast. Police say that a man in his 20s was shot in the legs at about 20:00 on Saturday. The attack happened in an alleyway off Shaws Road in the west of the city. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
