Man Attacked In Lurgan

A man has been attacked in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

The assault occurred at a pathway near Taghnevan Close on Sunday, 09 October.

Two men kicked and punched the victim and he also sustained a stab wound to his head.

He is currently being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Two men are being questioned by police in relation to the attempted murder of a man who was attacked in Lurgan. The incident occurred in a house at Liscorran Court in the early hours of Thursday morning. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, is being treated for serious head injuries in hospital.
