PSNI Release Images After Man Attacked In Co Armagh
The PSNI have released images after a man was assaulted in Lurgan, Co Armagh.
The victim, aged in his 40s, was attacked by two men at a pathway between Taghnevan and the Tullygally East Road on Sunday, 09 October.
He was stabbed in the head and body as well as being kicked and punched.
A police spokesperson said: "This was a frenzied attack on a man who was simply out for a walk, and we want to do all we can to find the people behind the attack.
"To do that, we need your help. Did you see anyone running off towards the Tullygally East Road last night around midnight? Did you see anyone, possibly 2 males, hanging around in the area around that time? Have you heard talk of who was responsible? Any bit of information, no matter how small, could help get this man justice.
"CID in Lurgan are leading the investigation, and would love to hear from you. Call 101 and ask to be put through. The incident number is 7 of today (10/10/16). Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a serious assault in east Belfast on Thursday 29th February. At approximately 11.20pm last night police were called to a property in the Montrose Street area following the report of an injured woman.
