Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead In Co Armagh
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property in Co Armagh.
The woman was discovered at a house in the Toberhewny Hall area in Lurgan at around 2.50am on Friday morning, 20 January.
A post mortem examination will be carried out to determine the cause of death.
A 51-year-old man has been detained in police custody.
SinnFéin MLA John O'Dowd said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
"I would appeal for anyone with information to bring it forward to the PSNI."

A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road accident in County Down. A woman, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle on the Comber Road in Newtownards at about 9.45pm last night. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.
