Woman And Child Escape Injury After House Attacked In East Belfast

A woman and child have escaped injury after a gang of armed men attacked their home in east Belfast.

The attack happened at a house in Fashoda Street at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 14 February.

The men, armed with hammers, smashed a number of windows at the property.

A mother and her daughter were not injured, the PSNI have confirmed.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Investigation Launches After Masked Men Break Into House In East Belfast
The PSNI have launched an investigation after masked men broke into a house in east Belfast while a woman was inside. The incident occurred in the Manna Grove area at around 7pm on Wednesday, 17 January. Three masked men entered the property through a smashed back door and searched the house while the woman was upstairs.

Child Hurt In East Belfast Sectarian Attack
An east Belfast politician has condemned an incident in the area that police are treating as sectarian during which a young girl suffered an arm injury. It took place at a house in Derwent Street on Monday and saw the young girl injured after a gang of men attacked a house with hammers.
