Woman Critical After Bangor Collision

A woman is in a critical condition in hospital following a road collision on the Bangor to Newtownards dual carriageway.

The crash happened on the Newtownards bound carriageway at the junction with Green Road at around 11.20pm on Saturday, 19 February.

Three men were also taken to hospital however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Two men were arrested and one remains in police custody.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Bomb Planted Under Police Officer's Car
Police have launched an investigation following the attempted murder of a police officer in east Belfast. A serving officer detected a suspicious object under his vehicle when parked at Shandon Park on Saturday afternoon, 01 June. ATO were called to the scene and the device was declared a viable explosive.
