Man Arrested Over Attempting To Kill PSNI Officers

A man has been arrested for attempting to kill police officers in west Belfast.

Up to eight shots were fired at the side of a parked PSNI car in the Rossnareen Avenue area on 26 November 2015.

Two male officers were left badly shaken after the attack, however they were not injured.

A 29-year-old man is being questioned at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.

A man has been arrested and seven PSNI officers injured after a high speed car chase in west Belfast early this morning. The incident happened at around 1.20am when a police officer approached a vehicle on the Whiterock Road.

Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
A man has been arrested over the attempted murder of police officers in Strabane. A 20-year-old man was detained by police after three officers escaped injury when a device exploded in the Townsend Street area on Tuesday, 21 March. A security alert is ongoing in the area.

Police Use Taser Stun-Gun On Man Armed With Machete
Police had to use a Taser stun-gun during the arrest of a man in Newtownabbey on Wednesday, 27 September. The PSNI received reports that a man with a machete entered a shop on the Mill Road at a around 4.50pm.
