Two Men Charged Over Belfast Robbery

Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery at a shop in Belfast on Monday, 03 April.

The men, armed with hammers, entered the premises on the Ormeau Road just before 6.30am and threatened staff.

One of the suspects, aged 34, has been charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a class B controlled drug.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on thursday, 06 April.

The second man, aged 30, has been charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and criminal damage.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 03 May.

Two Men Charged Over North Belfast Attack
Two men have been charged in connection with an assault in north Belfast. The incident, which happened on Sunday, left a man in a critical condition in hospital. On Sunday, four men were attacked on the Antrim Road and a 24-year-old suffered serious head injuries. The other three men did not need hospital treatment.
