Appeal Issued For Missing Teenager From Newtownards

Police are appealing for information to trace the whereabouts of a 16-year-old girl from Newtownards, Co Down.

Phoebe Armour was last seen on Monday morning, 10 April.

It is out of character for her not to keep in contact with her parents.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Important to stress as always that Phoebe is not in any trouble and all we want to see is her home safe and well. Anyone with info give us a call on 101 quoting CC2017041100438."

Suspected Firearm Recovered During PSNI Operation In Ardmore
The PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) have recovered a suspected firearm in Ardmore in L'Derry. During a search in the Rushall Road area, the suspected firearm was located in the vicinity of a graveyard. Enquiries continue, and the suspected firearm will now be the subject of forensic testing.
