Two Men Assaulted In Ballymoney

Police have launched an investigation after two males were assaulted by four masked men in Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

The gang smashed windows and the front door of a house in Carnany Drive at around 7.30pm on Sunday, 07 May.

Two men, both aged in their 30s, were attacked with a crowbar and sledge hammer.

One of the victims sustained fractures to his arms, legs and ankles as well as a number of puncture wounds.

The other man received a cut to the top of his head.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A former police station in Belfast city centre is to be redeveloped for a new 74-bedroom hotel. Belfast City Council's Planning Committee approved the development on Queen Street, along with granting Listed Building Consent to bring the building into use again.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Appeal Following Serious Assault And Robbery In Antrim
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.
