Drop In Number Of People Claiming Unemployment Benefits

The number of people claiming unemployment benefits has dropped over the past month.

According to the latest labour market statistics, 31,500 people claimed in April, 200 less than in March.

The figures also showed a 5.3% unemployment rate for the past three months.
