Department Publishes RHI Payments List

A full list of firms receiving support payments under the botched Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme has been published.

The Department for the Economy published the list on Wednesday, 24 May.

It also said the list "does not imply wrongdoing by any of the beneficiaries".

Publication of the list of individual beneficiaries follows an extensive exercise which complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act as recommended in the Court's judgment.

The Renewable Heat Association said it was "disappointed" the list was released.

A spokesperson said: "We need to sort out this shambles as otherwise, people will suffer, loans will be defaulted upon and banks will seize and foreclose on property at a rate not seen since NAMA and, to top it all, we will return to burning millions of barrels of oil.   Hardest hit are the farmers but, all innocent participants have lost out."
