60 New Posts Created By Software Firm Version 1

A software firm has announced it is to create 60 new jobs in Belfast.

Version 1 will also be doubling the size of its office space at Cromac Place.

Lorna McAdoo, Head of Operations at Version 1 NI, said: "We have become more competitive in Northern Ireland and this, combined with hard work and commitment from our team, has led to several large contracts being awarded to us.

"Over the next six months, we will be doubling our office space at Cromac Place and also doubling our workforce to 120 over the next two years. We have very exciting times ahead."

The posts are to be created over the next two years.

1300 New Jobs To Be Created Over The Next Three Years
New research, conducted among microelectronics firms in Ireland, forecasts that 1300 new jobs will be generated in the sector over the next three years. The research also showed that there were currently over 50 open opportunities in the sector today in Ireland.

Eishtec Announces New Jobs
Fine Gael Waterford Deputy, Paudie Coffey, has welcomed news that Waterford company, Eishtec, is to expand further and will now employ 950 people in the South East region at their two sites in Waterford and Wexford.
