Mark Garside To Return To Belfast Giants

Mark Garside, from Scotland, is to return to the Belfast Giants for an eighth season, it has been confirmed.

The 28-year-old first joined the Giants in 2010 after four years with the Edinburgh Capitals.

Garside has been a regular in the Team GB national side for seven straight seasons and scooped gold in the recent World Championship hosted in Belfast.

Head Coach Adam Keefe said: "I am excited about keeping Mark in Belfast and I know our fans will be too. He works very hard for the team and can play in any situation.

"Most importantly, Mark knows how to win with two league titles in Belfast as well as the recent World Championship gold and he will play a key part in our chase for silverware in the 2017/18 season."
