Police Appeal After Attempted Robbery In North Belfast

Police have launched an investigation following an attempted robbery in north Belfast.

The incident happened at a shop on Skegoniel Avenue at around 7.30pm on Thursday, 15 June.

One man entered the shop and demanded money while the other man stood outside.

A female worker scared off the robbers and they fled the scene empty handed.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Appeal To Help Trace Missing Man From North Belfast
Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing 81-year-old man. Robert McCullough, also known as 'Bertie', from north Belfast was last seen on Wednesday, 23 August. He is described as being approximately 5ft 6 inches tall and of stocky build. He has thinning grey hair and a full grey beard.

Police Appeal After Man Attacked In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following an attack in north Belfast. The assault happened in the front garden of a house in Hesketh Park at around 6.40pm on Friday, 26 August. A man, believed to be armed with a Stanley knife, attacked another male.
