'Most Peaceful Twelfth Of July For Some Years' - PSNI
The PSNI attended a "number of minor incidents … and made a small number of arrests" during the 12th July parades but described it as "the most peaceful Twelfth of July for some years".
Commenting on the policing operation, Assistant Chief Constable Alan Todd said: "I am pleased that what was a lovely sunny day also turned out to be a lovely day for the thousands who attended the various demonstrations across the country.
"We have dealt with a number of minor incidents throughout the day and have made a small number of arrests but these were very much in the margins of what has been widely described as the most peaceful Twelfth of July for some years and a model for years to come.
"It has been a busy day for police officers who were out and about keeping people safe and I would like to place on record my appreciation of the work they have done and acknowledge the hard work of our partners and those within local communities who have contributed to making this a day people were able to enjoy."

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Man And Woman Jailed For 'Brutal And Senseless Attack'
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of two people at Laganside Crown Court for a range of offences including grievous bodily harm with intent, threats to kill, common assault and possession of an offensive weapon. 26-year-old Dylan Black, from the Lisburn area, was sentenced to seven years in prison. He will serve three years on license.

Four Men Sentenced Over Co Antrim ATM Thefts
Four men have been sentenced in connection with a series of ATM thefts in the County Antrim area over four years ago. The investigation related to a number of ATM thefts between 27th October 2018 and 6th December 2019, including the theft of two cash machines at a supermarket on Castle Way in Antrim.

Additional £1m To Be Invested In Road Maintenance
An additional £1 million is to be invested in road maintenance with a focus on addressing the pothole problem, Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has announced. The additional funding will be spent on addressing the issue before the end of this financial year.

Police crack down on money laundering
Police have searched a number of premises in Counties Armagh and Down as part of ongoing investigations into money laundering. A total of 13 properties, including a number of business premises, were searched in the Bessbrook, Banbridge and Newry areas over a five day period.
