Three Women Arrested Over Theft In East Belfast

Three women have been arrested in connection with a theft in east Belfast.

The incident happened at Connswater Retail Park on Thursday, 20 July. However, police followed the car the women were travelling in and they were arrested in west Belfast.

A number of items were stolen including food, children's clothes and toiletries believed to be worth around £500.

The items were discovered in the boot of the car.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We would encourage all shop owners to report any thefts to Police as soon as possible as a quick report allows us to achieve these kind of results and get your goods out of the hands of thieves & back to your store where they should be."
