Woman 'Badly Shaken' After Armed Robbery In Newry

A woman has been left badly shaken following a robbery at her home in Newry.

Two male youths, one armed with a knife, entered the house in Maryvale Road area at around 8pm on Saturday, 29 July.

They demanded money and ransacked the house.

The youths were describe as around 17-years old and spoke with a local accent.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "One was described as being around 5’5” tall, of medium build and wore a dark grey hooded top and black track bottoms. The second was over 6’ tall, of thin build and also wore a grey hooded top with black track bottoms."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Investigate Armed Robbery At Ballycastle Supermarket
An investigation has been launched following the armed robbery of a supermarket in Ballycastle on Tuesday, 09 April. It was reported to police, that at around 11pm a masked man entered the Castle Street store carrying a spray bottle of an unknown substance.
