Man Found Seriously Injured In Newtownabbey
Police have launched an investigation after a man was found with serious injuries at a car park in Newtownabbey.
The 59-year-old man has been taken to hospital where his condition has been described as serious but stable.
Police on mobile patrol found the man outside commercial premises in the Longwood Road area at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, 15 August.
Detective Inspector Chris Millar said: "We are working to ascertain what happened to this man and would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any other information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1360 15/08/17.
"Alternatively, information can be passed to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously by telephoning 0800 555 111."

Police are seriously concerned for the welfare of missing man David Duprey. Mr Duprey, 61, was last seen in Craigavon Area Hospital in Co Armagh at 9am on Wednesday. Police are urging the public to contact them if they have seen Mr Duprey as he needs "urgent medical treatment".

A County Antrim man found dead in a hotel room in Ibiza sustained head injuries, according to Ireland's expert State Pathologist. Alan Drennan, 21, was found dead just 24 hours after arriving in Ibiza. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service treated the man at the scene before he was taken to hospital. He is said to be in a serious condition.

Man Seriously Injured In West Belfast Attack
A man has been seriously injured after being assaulted by a gang of men in west Belfast. The attack happened at a property in the Greenland Street area at around 9pm on Sunday. Four men entered a house and assaulted the 25-year-old occupant. He is currently being treated in hospital.
