Security Guard Tied Up During Robbery In North Belfast

A security guard has been tied up during a robbery in north Belfast.

Three men, one armed with a gun, robbed a shop on the Oldpark Road just before 3.30am on Wednesday, 23 August.

The suspects stole and made off in a black Volkwagen Jetta that was parked in the area.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested In Connection With Armed Robbery In North Belfast
Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery at a café in north Belfast. He was arrested in the Graymount Park area on Tuesday on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. The incident occurred at premises on the Shore Road on Monday.

Armed Robbery In North Belfast
An armed robbery has occurred at a shop in north Belfast. Two men, one armed with a hammer and the other with a screwdriver, entered the premises on the Whitewell Road at around 6.20am on Wednesday. They tied up and threatened two members of staff and stole cigarettes.

Three Arrested Over Machete Robbery
A man has robbed a cash in transit van with a machette in north Belfast. It happened on the Old Park Road at about lunchtime on Monday. Three men aged 24, 44, and 51 have been arrested. A sum of money has been recovered.

Police fire on car in north Belfast
Detectives in north Belfast opened fire at a car following what is understood to be an attempted robbery. One shot was fired, and believed to have struck a car when a patrol was called to Chichester Park South at around 2:30am. Police were alerted when a house alarm went off.

Armed robbery in north Belfast
Police in north Belfast have appealed for information following the armed robbery of a delivery van this morning. The incident happened shortly after 10.30am in the Antrim Road area of the city, when three men – one armed with a wheel brace - approached and threatened the delivery staff. The thieves then made off with a quantity of cigarettes.

Three men have been arrested following an armed robbery in North Belfast. It happened at a filling station on the Shore Road area of the city at around 9.35pm. A sum of cash and a quantity of cigarettes were taken during the incident, and the suspects were arrested shortly after the robbery took place.

Police investigating a robbery in north Belfast have released images of two people they would like to speak to. The armed robbery happened at a shop on the Antrim road on Saturday 31 October last year. A man entered the shop armed with a claw hammer and threatened female staff members. He made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Grey's Lane.

A number of staff members have been left badly shaken following a robbery at an off licence in north Belfast. The incident happened on North Queen Street at around 9.50pm on Friday. Three men entered the premises and threatened staff before making off with cigarettes and a sum of cash.

North Belfast Robbery Condemned
An SDLP North Belfast Councillor has condemned the armed robbery of a shop on the Crumlin Road yesterday. Nichola Mallon has also urged anyone with any information to contact the police and said: "This robbery is particularly disturbing seeing that a handgun and balaclavas were involved.

Man struck by car during Yorkgate robbery
Police in north Belfast are investigating an incident in which a 50-year-old man was hit by a getaway car during a robbery. Bags containing thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes were stolen from a bond delivery van in the Yorkgate area at around 2pm this afternoon. The man struck by the vehicle was taken to hospital.
