Police Appeal After Man Armed With Knife Steals Till From Shop In Ballymena

Police are appealing for information after a man, armed with a knife, stole a cash register from a shop in Ballymena.

The incident occurred at premises on Queen Street at around 6.30am on Monday, 11 September.

the suspect is described as being approximately 6ft in height and had his face covered with a dark balaclava.

The PSNI are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at a shop in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The incident occurred at a shop in the Larne Road area just after 7.40pm on Wednesday. A masked man armed with a knife demanded a staff member to open the till. However, the employee threw water over him and he made off empty handed.

Appeal Over East Belfast Armed Robberies
The PSNI is appealing for information regarding two armed robberies in east Belfast on Tuesday evening. Police said that at about 16:25 a man armed with a knife entered a shop in the Castlereagh Road area and demanded money. He made off with a sum of cash and is thought to have headed in the direction of Isoline Street.

Police Appeal Following Shop Raid
Police in Co Down have appealed for information following a robbery at a shop in Dundrum. The incident happened at a premises on Main Street shortly after 5am this morning (5 January). Three men are thought to have been involved in the robbery. Two are said to have entered the shop and stole a quantity of cigarettes, as well as cash from the tills.

Police appeal following body find in house
The body of a man has been found at a house in Co Antrim on Thursday. The man, who is believed to be in his 50's, was discovered at the house in Ladysmith Terrace in the Harryville area of Ballymena at around 9pm. Police have appealed for information into tracing the man's movements over the last few days.

Police Appeal After Man Robs Shop In Belfast
An armed man robbed a shop in Belfast on Sunday morning. The man, armed with a hammer, threatened staff at the premises on the Belmont Road and demanded money shortly after 9.30am. He made off with a sum of cash. The man, believed to be around 20 years old, is described as 5’ 10” tall and he was wearing a black tracksuit and a black cap.

Police link robberies in south Belfast
Police say they believe two robberies in the Finaghy area of south Belfast on Monday could be linked. The first robbery took place at around 6.40pm at a petrol station on Finaghy Road North. A man armed with a knife entered the shop and threatened staff before taking cash from the till.

Meat Cleaver Robber Sought
A female shop assistant has been threatened with a meat cleaver during a robbery in west Belfast. A man carrying a cleaver entered an off-licence on the Springfield Road at about 4pm on Tuesday and demanded cash from the till - escaping with an undisclosed sum of money. The woman was unhurt but said to be badly shaken.

Police have appealed for information about a serious assault in Londonderry, which resulted in a man receiving 16 stitches to his throat. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

Masked Man Uses Butchers Knife To Rob Local Newsagent
A man armed with a butchers knife has robbed a newsagents on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast. At around 8pm last night a masked man entered a shop near Lendrick Street and pressed a knife against a shop assistants throat. The robber escaped with money and cigarettes.

Woman stabbed during robbery in Bangor
A female shop worker has been stabbed following a robbery in Bangor at around 1pm this afternoon. A man armed with a knife entered the newsagent’s shop on Gray’s Lane and stabbed the woman before taking off with a sum of money from the till.

Police investigating the murder of Ballymena woman Shirley Finlay, have today reissued their appeal for information. The 24-year-old woman’s body was discovered in a car park in the Mount Street area of Ballymena town centre on September 19. She had been strangled.

Police in Ballymena are appealing for information following the disappearance of a teenage girl. Kerry McRitchie, 16, from the Rathfern area of the town, was last seen in Magherafelt. She is described as being 5'3" in height, of medium build with brown hair and was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt with white writing and denim jeans.
